Nothing about reading these pages involves registering, filling anything in or being tracked. A visit leaves a trace in the host’s access log, gone after 14 days, and in the request data Cloudflare handles on the way in.

Under UK data protection law the data controller here is Fabulous Bingo Sister Sites, accountable for the little the guide holds. For anything about your data, write to info@fabulousbingosites.co.uk.

What does the guide ask of you?

The site has no logins, comment threads, mailing lists or contact forms, so it never needs your name, an email address or card details. Should you choose to email the address above, your message is used to reply to you and for nothing more.

Does the guide use cookies or analytics?

No cookie is set; analytics, ads and social-media scripts are absent too. The two typefaces are hosted alongside the pages, so no font company is contacted when a page opens. The same goes for the screenshots of the four Red Rock homepages: they are image files kept on this server, and loading one tells none of those casinos that you looked.

What do the server logs hold, and for how long?

Every request a page makes leaves an entry in the web server’s access log. It notes the requesting IP address, the moment of the request, the request line (method, page and protocol), the response status, the bytes sent, the address of the page that linked here if your browser reports it, and the user agent your browser announces.

Requests reach that server through Cloudflare, Inc., which provides the site’s content delivery and security service and processes IP addresses and request data to deliver and protect the site.

The log rolls over every day, and each daily file is erased once it is 14 days old. Entries are read only to keep the guide online and safe, for example to find the cause of an error or to turn away a flood of automated requests; that is the legitimate interest UK GDPR allows for. No entry is sold, shared, matched with other data or used to build a profile of a reader.

Which data rights do you have?

You may ask to see the data held about you, have a mistake in it fixed, have it deleted, or object to how it is used. Send the request to info@fabulousbingosites.co.uk and mention the IP address and day of your visit, because that is the only way a log entry can be traced. The Information Commissioner’s Office, at ico.org.uk, handles complaints about how a request was dealt with.
