Fabulous Bingo complaints and held withdrawals: what to do
A Fabulous Bingo complaint goes to Red Rock Managed Services Limited, which runs the site, through the published stages shown in the timeline. Once Red Rock has given its final decision, or eight weeks after it received the complaint, the dispute can go to IBAS, free of charge. A held withdrawal or a restricted account usually traces back to a check the general terms allow: identity, source of funds, a disputed payment or an investigation.

What should a complaint to Fabulous Bingo include?
What happened, when, how much money was involved, and what you want Red Rock to do about it. Customer services takes complaints by phone on 020 4530 8383 between 10am and 8pm, by email to support@fabulousbingo.co.uk, or through live chat, which runs from 8am to midnight every day but only when you’re logged in. Staff will usually try to settle things informally first.
- Read the terms that applied. The Gambling Commission suggests checking any terms linked to your account or the transaction, so that you can name the rule you think was applied wrongly.
- Give the details. The Commission asks for all the information about your complaint, including dates, times and amounts of money. Add your username and any reference an earlier chat or email gave you.
- Say what outcome you want. A withdrawal paid, a balance corrected or a restriction lifted, for example. Red Rock’s acknowledgement is meant to set out what you want done, so a plain statement makes that summary easy to check.
- Send the evidence with it. Screenshots, emails and statements that support the complaint, as the Commission’s guidance also asks.
If the acknowledgement gets the complaint wrong, the complaints page asks you to say so.

Who should your complaint be addressed to?
Address it to Red Rock Managed Services Limited, which holds the licence and runs the site. The brand belongs to News Group Newspapers Limited, but the general terms say News Group is not responsible for any of the gambling and that your contract is with Red Rock. Letters go to Red Rock at 6th Floor, World Trade Centre, 6 Bayside Road, Gibraltar, GX11 1AA.

Why might Fabulous Bingo restrict an account or payout?
The general terms give Red Rock several grounds to restrict an account. They say what Red Rock may do on each ground, not when a restriction will end, except that a suspension for suspected prohibited activity is lifted if the investigation resolves the issue.
| Ground | What the terms say |
|---|---|
| Identity and verification checks | Checks can come during registration or at any time afterwards. Until they are complete the account can be restricted, withdrawals included. If they cannot be completed it is suspended and may in the end be closed for good. |
| Source of funds | Information must arrive within the period Red Rock’s email sets, usually 48 hours or 7 days. If it does not, the account can be restricted until it has been sent and verified. |
| Insolvency | Restriction, financial limits pending an account review, or closure, immediately on learning of bankruptcy, a county court or High Court judgment, an individual voluntary arrangement, a debt relief order or insolvency |
| Suspected prohibited activity | The account is limited or suspended while Red Rock investigates, and Your funds cannot be accessed or withdrawn during the investigation. The listed activities include using a payment method in another name, a chargeback and a VPN used to hide your location. The terms ask you to co-operate and say a delay in answering affects the investigation. |
| A chargeback | The account can be restricted while the payment is investigated, and any money due or requested is withheld. |
| A credit card | Credit cards are not accepted; deposits made with one are refunded and winnings from them reversed |

Which documents will an account check ask for?
Identity. Photographic ID such as a passport or driving licence showing your name and date of birth, and a bank statement or utility bill that shows the account holder’s name and address, dated within the previous three months. The ID verification page asks for these through its upload form.
Source of funds. The general terms list what may be requested:
- the front and back of the payment card, showing only the name, the first six and last four digits and the expiry date, with all other details covered
- bank statements from the last 3 months
- wage slips from the last 3 months
- evidence of any other source, such as a property sale, an inheritance, a share sale or a lottery win.
For these, the FAQ gives the email address support@fabulousbingo.co.uk and asks for documents that are clear and not cropped. It is also plain about what happens otherwise: further business may not be accepted if the requested information is not provided
.

When can you take a complaint to IBAS?
After Red Rock’s final decision. The complaints page says you may have the right to have that decision reviewed by IBAS, the Independent Betting Adjudication Service, and that you contact IBAS yourself. It costs nothing: the general terms give you free access to the ADR function. IBAS takes post at PO Box 62639, London EC3P 3AS, calls on 020 7347 5883 and email at adjudication@ibas-uk.co.uk, and its adjudication form is on the IBAS website.
The Commission’s guidance also puts a limit on the wait: after 8 weeks you can take your complaint to an ADR provider
, and a business may give you a deadlock letter confirming you can. It sets limits too. An ADR provider turns away complaints about customer service, or about a refusal to accept a bet or your custom, and you cannot go to one without first using the gambling business’s own complaints process.

What happens if the account is closed or left unused?
If Red Rock closes it. Without giving a particular reason, the terms allow a closure at any time on at least 14 days’ written notice. The same section also covers closures required by a regulator or the law, and closures after prohibited activity. A positive real-money balance is paid back on closure, except that nothing need be refunded after illegal activity, and after prohibited activity Red Rock may withhold or recover the money that the activity accounts for. To close the account yourself, the terms send you to customer services.
If you stop using it. After 24 months without a login the account is inactive. If money is left in it, Red Rock says it will try to contact you at least a month beforehand, then try to return the balance to the last payment method you used, or to a verified bank account in your name. An account with nothing in it is marked dormant as soon as it is found inactive, and one with money in it no sooner than a month after the first attempt to reach you. Logging in reactivates it, and you can ask customer services for whatever was in the balance when it was marked dormant. After five dormant years the account is anonymised and the balance may be donated to a registered charity working on problem gambling, with a month’s notice first.
What a claim can reach. Apart from winnings that are due to you, the terms cap Red Rock’s liability at the stake for a disputed transaction, or £5,000 in total for other matters. They do not limit your statutory rights as a consumer, liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, liability for misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Which records should you keep while a complaint is open?
- Every email, with its date. The acknowledgement matters most: it records how Red Rock understood the complaint.
- The terms you accepted. A copy of the general terms, and of any offer terms, as they read on the day.
- Your play and transaction history. It sits under History in the Account tab.
- A note of what you sent and when. Documents and evidence, the channel used and any reference given.
- The final decision or deadlock letter. An adjudicator considers your information, and the Commission says it should include any response from the gambling business.
A dispute about money can be stressful, especially if it is money you could not afford to lose. Free help is listed on the safer-gambling page.
